Some images from the studio: a prototype for a circular book. The most sculptural thing I’ve ever attempted and took some serious paper engineering to accomplish. But it is very fun to play with.

Another view of some “pages.”

The book when closed; a quarter circle.
I’m also working on two other circular format books, completely unlike this form, but with similar content. Sometimes there is just more than one way to say something.
So beautiful and so clever. Love the color
Really beautiful. I love this experimentation, especially when it ends up looking so good.
Ooooooooooh, I love this one, Cari. It’s a little different……soft curves instead of the diamond shapes we often see. Really beautiful!
I’ve been trying to do this forever. How did you make this? Can you send me instructions?
Hi Coco, This book is pretty complicated and I haven’t written out any instructions. I learned it in a workshop and I would think that really would be the best way for this one, to get the subtleties right. Maybe I’ll teach a class on this structure someday.
