I am a sometime poet who is grateful for the role poems have played in the creation of my prose writing. Many of these poems appeared originally over in the Journal, but live here now all together. Some are from other times in my life. Poetry has arrived for me when I am ready to dive into serious prose writing. It is a way for me to invoke the words, a sacred practice that comes and goes at will.
So, find a poem, or write one yourself. You never know what kind of mirror might appear when you invite the muse.
For now I will simply link a few pages of poems from this page, until I can figure out a more creative way to present them.
