This is one of my favorite images of autumn harvest, making my English soul so happy with its orderly rows of my favorite fruit, pears, and all the rest, Chinese lanterns and what we call money tree just glowing in the light. And rosemary, favorite herb and one of my mother’s names.
Image credit: from Doors and Windows, photographed by Linda Burgess. From Images of Britain series of postcards, so I must have picked it up on my visit there in 1997.
May your harvest be bountiful and your storehouse full, of vegetables, ideas, actions, creations, or whatever you feel you are harvesting at this time of year.
